TVRA Offer Advice & Information Sessions

Tees Valley Rural Action (TVRA) offers a wide range of advice and support to voluntary and community groups in the rural areas of the Tees Valley. The help we can offer includes:

  • Enabling: communities through information and guidance packs
  • Supporting: volunteers with sign posting and bespoke training
  • Empowering: local people and organisations by getting their voices heard. – Raising the Rural Voice

Can you help us to look for funding for the village hall??
We will ask you to complete our short project outline to describe your needs, then our village halls advisor will support you with funding searches and applications.
We need some training on Roles and Responsibilities of a Management Committee, is this something you can provide?

We can tailor a training package just for your own community, with many years experience, delivered by fully qualified trainers.  We make sure we get the courses right just for you.
Do you have anyone that can help us to promote our next event?
We have active social media feeds and our website, if you can contact us we will support and promote all positive activities in the rural areas

TVRA staff has a knowledge and understanding on a wide variety of issues relating to the voluntary and community sector, in particular those pertaining to the rural areas of the Tees Valley.  Funding advice, constitutions and legal structures, charitable status/applying for registration developing new projects, employment Issues, organisational development, training, policies and procedures are just a few of the subjects that we can help you with.
