The current annual membership, regardless of the time of year when joining, is £20.00 and gives you access to the scheme. Subsequent annual membership will be charged at the current rate at that time and will be valid from 1st April to 31st March each year.

Each journey is based on mileage travelled and is calculated on a return basis from the volunteer driver’s home to the service user’s home and forward destination. This is charged at 45p per mile and the service user will pay the agreed charge direct to the volunteer driver. All journeys must be booked at least 48 hours in advance and is subject to agreement to a prearranged cost and availability of a volunteer driver. All journeys must be made through Tees Valley Rural Action in order to keep the insurance valid.
