Join #NationalLottery25  in Gateshead as we celebrate the National Lottery’s 25th Birthday with tea and scones, and attempt to set a new (Guinness World Records™) for the largest ever cream tea party.

We need 1,500 guests to come along to enjoy a free cream tea – including a cup of tea, a scone with jam and clotted cream – on Wednesday 23 October 2019 at the Sage Gateshead.

To beat the record, everyone taking part must be able to drink a cup of tea with milk and eat at least one wheat scone with clotted cream and jam.

To allow us to provide enough scones and tea – and set a new world record – all guests must register for a place at the table and ensure they can attend the event.
